      Invite Users to Refined Products System

      Step-by-Step Instructions on how to invite a new user to the Refined Products Customer Portal (myMagellan).

      Here’s the order in which a user has to be granted full access to our systems.  The company’s local security admins are required to do full process. 

      1. Must be granted back-end access to Magellan system by receiving an invitation to join the Customer Portal.
        • The new user must accept the invitation before step one is fully complete.
      2. Must be provisioned within ATLAS Security App.  
      3. Swift access provisioned under User Permissions within Swift UI.

      STEP ONE

      1. Log in to the myMagellan Refined Products Customer Portal: portal.magellanlp.com

      2. Invite the new user by sending an invitation.

      • Customer Portal > Administration > Invitations > Invite New Member > enter four fields of data > Send Invitation 
        • NOTE: For phone number, we recommend to use their cell phone number as our platforms are beginning to notify via text notifications.

      2. When the four fields are saved and complete, the invited user will get an email invite.

      3. The invited user must complete the invitation and finish their login credentials.

      • Invitations expire after seven (7) days but can be refreshed and resent.

      4. Once the invited user has a green check mark, the Security Admin may proceed to step two.

       

      Invitation Statuses:  

        • Green check mark = the invited user completed their invitation.
        • Orange icon = A pending invitation; the invited new user has not accepted their invitation.
        • Expired = invitation and account is inactive.  Please re-send the invite.

      Provisioning User Access within Swift

      • Move to Swift (www.swift.magellanlp.com).  This website is separate from the Refined Products Customer Portal.
      • User will use the same username email and password to log in that they use for Customer Portal.  Reminder, every user must use an MFA two-step authentication.
