      Step Two: Invite User to ATLAS Security App

      To continue creating a new user's access to the Refined Products & Crude Customer Portal, step two must be complete.

      Once the invited user has the green checkbox, proceed with second step.
      • Log in to the myMagellan Customer Portal: portal.magellanlp.com
      • Click ATLAS Security App. Only Security Admins (SA) are able to manage access.
      • Manage access in two places:
        1. System Grant / Revoke
        2. Permissions by User

        STEP TWO

        System Grant / Revoke

        Note: This screen ONLY grants the system, not the icon. Please continue to the Permissions By User screen to complete the setup.

        • There are two columns:
            1. Left column = unassigned and unable to access the systems. 
            2. Right column = assigned and able to access as an active user.
        • To grant access: click on their name in the left-side column, click the > button to move to the right-side column.
        • To revoke a user's access, click on their name on the right-side column, click the < button to move to the left-side column. Any person in the left column will not have access.
        • A confirmation will populate. Click OK.



      Permissions by User

      Once you've added the user to the right-hand column within System Access/Revoke, it's time to provision the new user to areas within the system. (See below screenshot.)

      1. Select Screens > Permissions by User 
      2. Find the newly-provisioned email. You can search in the text field under Member
      3. Click the check box under Active Status. This box must be checked to enable access.
      4. Click on the user's email to complete the bottom sections: Data Companies, System Functions and Customer Affiliates.  The work saves as you click.
        • Refined Products Data Companies =  MPL - Magellan Pipeline Company, L.P.
        • System functions = granting the functions that the user is allowed to complete
          • To be an active user, the user must have to a minimum one System Function to be changed to active.

      5. Once the above is complete, the security admin can now provision users in the product-specific platform.
