Inventory Module & Feature List:

Purpose of Feature

Primary Customer

  • View current and projected product inventory levels to monitor and plan their inventory movements.
  • Due to contractual obligations, Inventory Owners aim to stay within their minimum and maximum allocation levels.
  • Reconsignments and Product Transfer Orders are the resulting transactions.
Offers various Inventory and Loading reports for a given Inventory Owner, Pipeline System and Product Group. 
  • Bills of Lading (by Inventory Owner)
  • Bills of Lading (by Supplier)
  • Booking History
  • Current Details
  • Current Summary
  • Historical Inventory
  • Inventory Projections
  • See and manage Manual (one-time) Reconsignments and Auto-Reconsignments
  • Defined as moving refined fuel products from one ONEOK refined fuel terminal to another.
  • Maintain product levels to stay within min and max allocations or ability to meet their Supplier's demands at specific refined fuel locations.
  • Auto-Reconsignments allow Inventory Owners to set thresholds; the auto reconsignment is scheduled to move product when the Inventory Owner's volume falls below a specified amount at a given location. 
  • Shows all open Product Transfer Orders and their status.
  • Move product inventory from one Inventory Owner to another Inventory Owner at a given refined fuel location.
  • See how much product is moving in and out of their possession to meet Supplier demand and maintain allocation levels.
  • Under "View List."
  • Search/pull a report of their current and historical Product Transfer Orders.

Shipping Module & Feature List:

Purpose of Feature

Primary Customer

  • Allows a Shipper (Batch Owner) to request space to bring product into ONEOK's refined fuels pipeline system for the upcoming period.
  • Nominate the leg, product and volume they need to move.
  • Allows you to accept all, accept some or reject the awarded volumes.
  • Schedule the movement of product into and within the refined fuel pipeline system.
  • Combines the Origin Release (OR) and Shipment Request (SR) into one process.
    • Origin Release: How you bring a barrel in to the ONEOK Refined Fuel Terminals system.
    • Shipment Request: How you ship that barrel through the ONEOK Refined Fuel Terminals system.
    • Distributions transfer the ownership of the product to Inventory Owners who are not the Shipper at the product's final destination.

  • Terminal-Specific Information

    • Available services, including offloading capabilities
    • Terminal outage and maintenance alerts
    • Operating hours

Customer Authorizations

(fka Customer Control CCI)

  • Authorize a customer to load from the Supplier's accessible inventory.
  • Establish Loading Control Numbers with Customer Authorizations, which forces a Carrier to be constrained to the parameters defined in the authorization.
  • Authorize Suppliers to load from the Inventory Owner's base or custom product inventory at a truck rack. 
  • Create new and manage existing authorizations
  • Turn on or off Two-Way Exchange for Suppliers
  • Specify and rank their Supplier Authorizations for loading at a truck rack.
  • The resulting sequencing ensures that the most favorable Inventory Owner's inventory is used.
  • Authorize a product at a ONEOK refined fuels location for loading by Suppliers. This product will then be selectable by the Inventory Owner when they are setting up Supplier Authorizations, where the Inventory Owner is authorized as their own Supplier.
  • Manage Extended Loading for their product authorizations. Extended Loading
  • Inventory Owners can manage product loading capabilities by:
  • Create new and manage existing product authorizations

Batch Sequencing

  • Update the Supplier Authorization sequences for multiple product/location combinations where the Supplier has at least one (1)  Supplier Authorization or a Supplier Directed Blend.
  • It provides efficiency when many sequences need to be updated.

Rack Wait Times

  • Refined-fuel customers (Inventory Owners, Suppliers and Carriers) can view predicted wait and load times at ONEOK terminals.
  • Understand high-traffic times at the terminals and use to select the best time/location for their needs.
  • Rack Wait Times is a premium feature and requires a customer to be enrolled in Swift+.
  • View the product authorizations granted to them by Inventory Owners.
  • Accept or Reject pending Two-Party Exchange requests from this screen.
  • Authorize Carriers to load product on their behalf at a given truck rack.
  • Manage/restrict Carriers to only load for specific Customers. Carriers must have a Loading Control Number to be able to load.

Extended Loading

  • One-time override to exceed available inventory at a location if the Inventory owner has the product at other locations with Extended Loading availability.
  • This allows an Inventory Owner to meet demand even if they do not have enough inventory at the time to fulfill the needs of their Suppliers.
  • Extended Loading is a premium feature and requires a customer to be enrolled in Swift+
  • An association made between an Inventory Owner and a Supplier designating the Supplier as the legal owner of the Inventory Owner's Product for IRS ExSTARS reporting.
  • Inventory Owners turn on Two-Party Exchange for the Supplier Authorization and the Supplier must accept for Two-Party Exchange to be enabled.
  • Inventory Owners can turn off Two-Party Exchange at any time.

  • Allows dispatchers to create and stipulate load parameters for carriers.
  • It will improve carrier efficiency and reduce driver error at the terminal. 
  • Allows Carriers to create and maintain the list of trailers that are used to load at ONEOK refined fuel terminals to ensure compliance with ONEOK policies.
  • Allows Carriers to upload driver certification paperwork and maintain the list of drivers who will operate the machinery at terminals to load products for delivery.
