Who manages user permissions in Swift?

Security Administrators are the only users who can grant full (view/manage) or limited (view) Swift access to other users within their company. They are responsible for managing the user access rights of a given Global Customer in ONEOK's refined fuel systems.

The role of Security Administrator is managed in the Customer Profile application from within the myMagellan Portal. (see below screenshot.)

💡View the Customer Member section within your company profile to identify Security Administrators for your company.

If you can't find your Security Administrators, email the Portal Customers team for assistance.

Setting up Swift permissions requires two steps:

1) Legacy ATLAS permissions granted via ATLAS Security application
2) Swift permissions granted within Swift's user permissions screen

If a user has previously been granted ATLAS access, then the Security Admin can skip step 1 and proceed directly to step 2.

 

1) Legacy ATLAS permissions granted

  1. A Security Administrator logs into the ATLAS Security application from the myMagellan Portal.

  2. Click System Grant / Revoke.  See below screenshot

    • There are two columns. 

    • The names on the left are members under your company profile, but DO NOT have access to legacy ATLAS.

    • The names on the right DO have access to legacy ATLAS.

  3. To grant access, click on a user name in the left column, then > button to move to the right side. (You can multi select; does not have to be one-by-one.)

  4. To revoke/remove access, click on a user name in the right column, click < to move to the left side. (You can multi select; does not have to be one-by-one.)

    • Any person listed in the left column will no longer have access.

      • Example, if someone no longer works at your company, move that name to the left.

  5. A confirmation will populate. Click OK.

2) Swift permissions granted 

Granting access to users to view and/or manage activity in the Swift tiles

The Global tile is automatically provisioned for Swift users.

The Dispatching tile is used by refined fuel carriers.

  1. Once a user has been granted access permissions to legacy ATLAS, they can be granted Swift permissions
  2. As the Security Administrator, go to Swift home page (https://swift.magellanlp.com)
  3. Click on Dashboard (the hamburger) in the very top left of the Swift home page.

  5. View and manage permissions of users from the Security dashboard.  There are two roles: 1) view only and 2) view and manage. 
    • Select the appropriate role permissions for each user under Swift tile titles.
    • Select company affiliates for which users have view/manage permissions.
    • Click on the ellipses of the user's name to select or deselect all.
  6. Click Save in the upper right corner to keep the changes made.

  8. The user needs to log out and back in and be able to see the requested tile.
