Managing users in the Customer Profile application

Associate your portal account to a customer company in the Customer Profile app in order to access your company's data, users, and ONEOK applications.

Benefit: your individual portal account is associated with one or more customer company profiles and grants access to several applications that enable approved product movements and data reporting.

What you'll need: an active portal account and an invitation from an existing customer company

What you’ll do: use the customer profile application from within the myMagellan Portal to accept an invitation

What you’ll get: the ability to access various applications within ONEOK refined fuels, and see data for the customer companies with which you’re associated.

How do I get invited to join an existing company?

A Security Administrator must send you an invitation.

To accept the invitation, you must have an active Portal account (this can be set up while accepting the invitation)

Invitations expire (for security purposes) after 7 days, but can be refreshed and resent.

How do I manage access rights for users?

Any Security Administrator can assign permissions to allow other members to complete specific set-up tasks in the Customer Profile App or to allow another member to become a Security Administrator.

  1. Select the “Customer Members” bar in the Document Management Pane
  2. Click the “Edit” button associate with the member you want to assign permissions
  3. Check the appropriate boxes for the permissions you want to grant
  4. Once the complete, click the “Update” button 

How do I remove a user?

A Security Administrator can delete users from the Member Management section of the Customer Profile app.

Deleted users can be re-activated later, if desired.

How do I add a new user in my company?

A new user will have to accept an invitation from a Security Administrator

    1. As a Security Admin, open the Customer Profile app
    2. The main screen will show you personnel and associated emails. Invitation Status is indicated by colored icons next to the personnel.
      • You can see who has accepted their invitation by a green check mark icon.
      • If their name is not listed, but you've previously invited them, you will see an orange download icon. You can also click Outstanding Invites under the Administration section.
    3. Click Invite New Member under Administration > Invitations
    4. Complete the four required fields
    5. Send Invitation
