The initial movement of refined fuels into ONEOK's refined fuel pipeline system.
What are Batches?
- Refined fuels are brought into ONEOK's refined fuel system using Batches.
- A batch is a collection of shipments of the same product from a single origin.
- Combines two processes - Origin Release (OR) & Shipment Request (SR) - into one process.
- Batch owners allocate those shipments to shippers.
- Shippers then move their products through the refined fuel system to a destination using Shipments.
- Shippers can assign ownership of the refined fuel product to Inventory Owners at the shipment's final destination using Distributions.
