Feature Release: 'New Reconsignments'
How do I take advantage of the new 'New Reconsignment' workflow in Swift?
Inventory > Reconsignments > New Reconsignment
This article explains the New Reconsignment experience, rebuilt from the ground up to focus on the most common reconsignment workflow in Swift – moving barrels from one location to multiple locations.
This 1 minute video walkthrough shows the new 1 to Many (New Reconsignment) workflow.
What is the New Reconsignment feature?
The new New Reconsignment workflow allows you to:
-
Generate multiple reconsignments from the same From Location (previously called "Source" to many To Locations (previously called "Destination")
-
Present Current Inventory Summary data directly in the workflow, eliminating the need to navigate between Inventory Reports and the Reconsignments.
-
View details of all available origins at each From Location utilizing the “View Details” button.
-
Save your personal table preferences (sort, column show/hide, column ordering)
-
See which terminals are on Allocation (volume restrictions) when allocating volume
-
Confirm your Reconsignment booked and new Current Inventory Summary on the new Confirmation screen
How do I select a From Location?
Get started with a new Reconsignment by selecting a From Location:
- Select your Inventory Owner and Product Grade
- Swift populates all locations associated with the selected Inventory Owner and Product in the ONEOK refined fuels pipeline system. Note: By default, locations are sorted by highest Total Volume
- Swift remembers your table preferences (sorting, column organization, show/hide settings) for future visits
- Use the Configuration panel to add constraints to your Reconsignment available From Locations by:
- RVP (Reid Vapor Pressure)
- Origin(s)
- Inventory Status
- Consignment Status
- Select "View Details" to see the current origins available at a select location and the total volumes based on your selected Configurations
How do I view Current Inventory Details for a From Location?
- View all origins associated with the volume currently at the selected location.
- Origin details are presented based on your Configuration panel selections
How do I input volume for my To Locations?
After selecting your From Location, follow these steps:
-
Navigate to the to the Transfer Volume column and select the Transfer Volume cell for the desired To Location where you want to add volume
-
After selecting Transfer Volume cell, you can use the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate to your desired row after clicking a Volume cell
-
Press Enter after inputting volume to save your desired volume and navigate to the next row
Note:
-
“From Location” details are presented in the header. Volumes will update based on your selected Origin(s).
-
Your configuration settings from the Select From Location step appear at the top of the page
How do I select a specific Origin during the To Locations step?
While on the To Locations step if you click the “Select Origin” button it will open the Location drawer to create your Reconsignment using barrels from a specific origin.
How do I review my Reconsignments?
- Review all Reconsignments before submitting
- Verify all details are correct before finalizing your transactions
Note: After clicking “Submit”, Reconsignments are created following the First In First Out, FIFO, principle. Meaning Swift will select the oldest barrels from the selected origin(s) to create your Reconsignments.
What happens on the Confirmation Screen?
The Confirmation Screen provides two tabs for your review:
- Confirmation Tab
- Review all reconsignment statuses you submitted
- Ensure all reconsignments booked properly
- Note: Future Reconsignments will show "Cannot Book" status initially and move to "Booked" status on the input Transfer Date
